War Council

Welcome to our little corner of the battlefield – a place where strategy meets craftsmanship, and where friendship is strengthened through shared victories, narrow defeats, and countless hours spent perfecting the art of war. This homepage is dedicated to Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings, but more importantly, it tells the story of three friends who discovered that the true heart of the hobby lies not only in the game itself, but in the time spent together around the table.

We are three friends from Austria who bonded – in addition to many other things – over a shared fascination with fantasy worlds, tactical gameplay, and the creative satisfaction of building something with our own hands. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a passion that now shapes our weekends, our travel plans, and many late evenings filled with paint, brushes, and spirited debate over rules, tactics, and color schemes.

Growing up in Austria, we are constantly surrounded by the legacy of the Holy Roman Empire – from historic cityscapes to the stories of rulers who shaped Central Europe for centuries. When we searched for a name that reflected both our roots and our love of commanding armies on the tabletop, “Kaisers” felt like a natural choice.

Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings captured our imagination because it offers more than just tabletop combat. It is a living battlefield where carefully maneuvered regiments clash, heroes shape the tide of war, and every decision matters. Unlike other Tabletop-Games, Conquest emphasizes movement, formation, and long-term planning. Victory is not decided by a single dice roll but by foresight, positioning, and the ability to adapt when the unexpected inevitably happens. The game rewards patience and clever thinking – qualities we continue to refine with every match.

Yet the game is only one part of the journey. The hobby surrounding Conquest is equally captivating. We spend countless hours assembling miniatures, experimenting with color palettes, and sharing painting techniques. Our painting sessions are as much about conversation and laughter as they are about layering highlights and perfecting basing details. Brushes move, music plays, and ideas flow freely – from tactical theories to everyday life stories. These evenings remind us that creativity thrives best in good company.

We hope you enjoy reading through our war reports or clicking through our armies!
