“Far across the endless grasslands of Eä roam the tribes of the W’adrhŭn, where the earth trembles beneath thunderous herds and the horizon stretches without end. Fierce, proud, and unyielding are but a few words spoken of these mighty people by those beyond the plains. The W’adrhŭn, children of the open steppe, are as untamed as the winds that sweep their homeland, as relentless as the stampeding beasts they hunt, and as resolute as the ancient blood that courses through their veins. Guided by the spirits of their ancestors and the primal call of conquest, they ride forth from the grasslands as a force of nature – swift, brutal, and unstoppable – leaving only trampled earth and broken foes in their wake.”
Appreciate the mighty horde! Colorful tribal paintings strike fear into the eyes of their foes! As an old-school Warhammer Fantasy fanboy, the first W’adrhŭn starter was a gift from my brother, and I instantly fell in love with this tribal orcish horde. The possibility to paint such a colorful army and use many, yet matching, colors and schemes for their units was a main reason to continue with this great faction. I tried to create diverse yet matching skin color schemes for all troops to give the army a heterogeneous yet still uniform look. In addition, the dark red color of their aprons and leather pieces helps further unify the overall look. The models are fantastic, and the dinosaurs are a huge bonus! They look great and give you so many options for painting. I’m definitely not an expert painter, but I try really hard and value the creative part of this great game just as much as playing it.
Have fun browsing through my army!

Apex Predator
Let’s start with one of my favourite models: the mighty Apex Predator. A fantastic miniature where I tried to work with a complementary color break to make the scheme pop. Judge for yourself – and get a feel for the look I wanted to give this army through its basing. Even the toughest spiders crawl from beneath their stones when the footsteps of an Apex Predator shake the earth!

Raptor Riders
In comparison to the Apex Predator, these fellas look almost nice and fluffy – yet their sharp claws and raking teeth shred through even the hardest metals and bones. Mounted by the toughest females in W’adrhŭn society, these Raptors excel at scouting and creating openings for even greater clashes to come!

Chieftain & Braves
Even the bravest soldiers need an inspiring figure to follow! Blessed by Ukunfazane herself, Rhokan the Earthshaker pays tribute to his goddess in a swamp-worshipping ritual to renew the blessing upon his mighty sword – Nhorshredar!

Veterans & Blooded
“Those who prove themselves worthy in battle shall climb the ranks!” Surviving combat and salvaging the gear of fallen enemies strengthens not only one’s prowess, but also one’s survivability and skill. Another enemy’s trash may serve well as a shield!

Hunting Pack
Living in symbiosis – on the field of battle as well as around the campfire after. These little critters are the first to enter the battlefield, but they are definitely not the first to be eaten!

Warbred
“You are born to redeem yourself until you find eternal slumber in the arms of Ukunfazane, thy Great Mother!” Not many find eternal slumber early, yet many Warbred grant it to their enemies when crushing them with their fearsome steles.

Thunder Chieftain & Thunder Riders
“Ride like the wind, but do not bend to the obstacles that seek to stop you!” Thurak Hornbreaker always rides at the front. He never stops unless he must manoeuvre to change direction! Followed by his loyal companions, they bring a quick and grueling end to every being smaller than a tree – a big tree.

Winglord Predators
Arun and Marun are twin brothers who rose to become feared Winglords after both failed to prove themselves as Thunder Riders. Rejected by the noble triceratops, they found their destiny when they encountered orphaned Quatls.
